Despite these facts, less than 20% of the population is thought to be practicing the religion. There are also Protestant, Orthodox, Muslim, and Jewish populations in the city. The largest mosque in the entire continent is located in the city of Buenos Aires.

The main language spoken in Buenos Aires is Spanish. However, the dialect in Argentina is much different than the typical Spanish dialect. Some say that the dialect even sounds more like Italian than Spanish.

Economy of Buenos Aires

The entire country of Argentina is heavily dependent on agricultural exports. The majority of those exports go through the city of Buenos Aires. Not only has this helped the economy in terms of the shipping and receiving business, but the banking and finance parts of the economy have also flourished. In fact, the country’s center of banking and finance is in Buenos Aires as of the 20th century. Overall, though, the economy is diversified and many people take place in different industries.
